There has been plenty of action at our tree nursery lately.
Our conservation lead, Jane Reeve checked the small hessian sacks of tree seeds to find some sprouting! This is exciting news as it is our first year of growing trees from seed.
So far, we have blackthorn and hawthorn seedlings. These have now been potted on and placed in a cold frame until the weather improves.
Let's hope there will be more germinating news soon!
