Can you help us?

The Manhood Wildlife and Heritage Group is run almost entirely by volunteers, many of whom have been with us for years! We are immensely grateful for all their contributions. You may be a volunteer already, or be thinking of volunteering, and perhaps are looking for a less strenuous role than some of our outdoor work. If so we have opportunities for you to join our work in other ways.

We are looking for Trustees to join us, this is a supervisory role, and is concerned with making sure we adhere to the Charity Commission rules, and contributing to the long term strategy of the group. We have 2 vacancies at the moment, but could take up to 3 interested people so do contact us and find out more about the role.

If you have worked in an administration or secretary role and would like to use those skills we also need someone to be our Honorary Secretary. Again if you would like more information about this role, which involves working with the management team, contact us through our website.

If you have a background in Health and Safety we would be delighted to have you as our Health and Safety Officer, as our current officer needs some help and guidance.

Finally, if you would be interested in volunteering to work with the Selsey Photo Archive group, they are looking for help with cataloguing photos in the archive and uploading photos to the site. We can train you for these tasks and some background or knowledge in the history of Selsey would be helpful but is not essential.

Use our contact form to get in touch with us about any of these volunteering roles.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Lesley Bromley, Chair MWHG
