Grass Snake

Grass Snake Natrix natrix – Typically green to brown or grey but variable and a yellow and back stripe behind the head. They can grow up to 120cm long and their young hatch from eggs. They eat frogs, lizards and small mammals. They live in grassy places; they can swim, climb trees and are quite common. Partially protected.
