MWHG VOLUNTEER ROLE DESCRIPTION
Where: The Manhood Peninsula, West Sussex

Why we need you:
To assist the Community Conservation Officer and other team members in encouraging and supporting people from across the Manhood Peninsula to participate in wildlife conservation activities.
Supporting and empowering local communities to take ownership of their environment, we believe, is a sustainable model for managing local wildlife sites.

What’s involved:
- Recruitment, selection, organisation, development and support of volunteers.
- Create volunteer recruitment materials, including adverts, leaflets and role descriptions.
- Manage local distribution of recruitment materials, maintain database and ensure regular and positive contact with locations and partners.
- Help to organise and deliver volunteer recruitment campaigns, activities and events and carry out associated administrative tasks.
- Work with other team members to review and implement volunteer induction processes.
- Arrange, attend and facilitate volunteer training.
- Assist with any other duties as reasonably requested.
Training and expenses: All volunteers will receive appropriate training and out-of pocket expenses will be reimbursed as necessary
