August 9, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Hale Farm, Chichester Road, West Wittering PO20 8QA

The entrance to the farm is just past the Lamb pub, on the opposite side. Drive down to the end of the drive way and parking is on the grass area.

The Session:

Species surveying and Pond dipping

  • 10.00 am to 11.15 am – Species surveying around the ponds and fields.
  • 11.30 am – Refreshments and cake.
  • 12.00 pm to 1.00 pm – Pond Dipping.

Please bring wellingtons for Pond Dipping.

We have lots of green sites across the Manhood Peninsula that we regularly maintain and survey, to create long lasting habitats for wildlife and prevent flooding. Please do come and help out – any time given is appreciated!

For conservation work events, we will bring tools with us, plus refreshments, but if you would like to bring your own gloves or tools then please do.

We will always confirm our sessions in the week beforehand, with detailed directions on where to park and if any other equipment or specific footwear is required.

Ask our organisers about this event or let them know that you will attend via the contact form provided – this helps us with catering and planning, thank you!
