Tree Planting in Almodington

May 4 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

To do:

On Saturday 4th May from 9.30am – 12.30pm we will be at Haydons Pond in Batchmere Lane, Almodington, to finish caring for the site before leaving it to flourish over the summer. We will be planting a few trees, hammering in some wooden stakes and sorting out some flytipping at this site.  There is parking in the nursery opposite (I’ll put up a hi vis jacket).  We will bring tools and refreshments – see you there!

Location:

Haydons pond, Batchmere Road, Almodington, PO20 7LG

Parking will be at the Biotecture carpark, 118 Batchmere Lane, Almodington PO20 7LE, opposite the pond and then we will walk to the site along the road in Hi Vis jackets.

We have lots of conservation sites to work on across the Manhood Peninsula. Please do come and help out, any time you can give is very appreciated and will benefit the local wildlife and flora. We will bring tools with us, plus refreshments, but if you would like to bring your own gloves or tools then please do.

We will always confirm the session in the week beforehand with detailed directions, where to park and if any other equipment or specific footwear is required. Ask a question or let our organisers know if you are going to come along via the contact form provided, this helps us with catering and planning – thank you!
