FLOW Project Activity: Pond Habitat Restoration

The Project

FLOW (Fixing and Linking Our Wetlands) is a Heritage Lottery Funded Project to survey and improve the ditch network of the Manhood Peninsula, to prevent flooding and increase vital habitat for wildlife. FLOW works in the following parishes: Apuldram, Donnington, Earnley, East Wittering, Bracklesham, Hunston, North Mundham, Selsey, Sidlesham, West Wittering, West Itchenor and Birdham.

Activity

Restoring a relic pond: volunteers will be cutting back vegetation and willow with the FLOW team, to expose the banks.

For conservation activities, we will provide tools and refreshments, but if you would like to bring your own gloves or tools then please do.

Chartswood Nursery, Sidlesham Common, Chichester, PO20 7QA

Parking available at the nursery.
