FLOW Project Activity: Clearing Overgrown Vegetation in Sidlesham

The Project
FLOW (Fixing and Linking Our Wetlands) is a Heritage Lottery Funded Project to survey and improve the ditch network of the Manhood Peninsula, to prevent flooding and increase vital habitat for wildlife. FLOW works in the following parishes: Apuldram, Donnington, Earnley, East Wittering, Bracklesham, Hunston, North Mundham, Selsey, Sidlesham, West Wittering, West Itchenor and Birdham.
Activity
Volunteers will be clearing overgrown vegetation and planting bulbs, with the FLOW team.
For conservation activities, we will provide tools and refreshments, but if you would like to bring your own gloves or tools then please do.
Please note that outdoor activities are subject to change, due to weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances. Subscribed volunteers who have RSVP’d to an event, via our emails, will be notified of relevant changes or cancellations, by the organiser[*].

Parking in The Elms driveway opposite the ditch.
