FLOW Activity: Tree Planting in Earnley

January 30 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

The Project

FLOW (Fixing and Linking Our Wetlands) is a Heritage Lottery Funded Project to survey and improve the ditch network of the Manhood Peninsula, to prevent flooding and increase vital habitat for wildlife. FLOW works in the following parishes: Apuldram, Donnington, Earnley, East Wittering, Bracklesham, Hunston, North Mundham, Selsey, Sidlesham, West Wittering, West Itchenor and Birdham.

Volunteers will be helping the FLOW team to plant trees at a new pond site. Please bring wellington boots, waterproofs and warm clothing.

For conservation activities, we will provide tools and refreshments, but if you would like to bring your own gloves or tools then please do.

Please note that outdoor activities are subject to change, due to weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances. Subscribed volunteers who have RSVP’d to an event, via our emails, will be notified of relevant changes or cancellations, by the organiser[*].
