Coir Roll Installation in Sidlesham

May 1 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm

To do:

We will be working at 2 sites in Ham / Sidlesham where we will be installing coir rolls and just finishing off the sites before we leave them to grow over the summer. We will be meeting at The Elms in Ham Road, Sidlesham, PO20 7NY and parking in the driveway. Once finished here we will then move to Sheepwash pond. Please bring wellies and any gloves if you have them and a packed lunch if you are going to stay all day. We will bring refreshments and tools.

Morning Location:

Easton Lane/ Ham Road Junction, Sidlesham PO20 7NY

Afternoon Location:

Sheepwash Pond, Ham Road, Sidlesham PO20 7NT

We have lots of green sites across the Manhood Peninsula that we regularly maintain and survey, to create long lasting habitats for wildlife and prevent flooding. Please do come and help out – any time given is appreciated!

For conservation work events, we will bring tools with us, plus refreshments, but if you would like to bring your own gloves or tools then please do.

We will always confirm our sessions in the week beforehand, with detailed directions on where to park and if any other equipment or specific footwear is required.

Ask our organisers about this event or let them know that you will attend via the contact form provided – this helps us with catering and planning, thank you!
