Coir Roll Installation in Birdham

May 3 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm

To do:

On Friday 3rd May from 9.30am – 3.00pm we will be working at 2 sites – Sparrow Cottage and a property opposite where we will be installing coir rolls. Please bring wellies and any gloves if you have them and a packed lunch if you are going to stay all day. We will bring refreshments and tools.

Location: Sparrow Cottage, Bell Lane, Birdham PO20 7HZ

Directions: from Chichester take the A286 and head south. Go past the Shell garage on the right and at the roundabout turn left into Bell Lane B2198. Sparrow Cottage is directly opposite Somerly lane, immediately before a sharp bend in the road. Sparrow cottage is on the right hand side PO20 7HZ (the thatched cottage on the right).

We have lots of green sites across the Manhood Peninsula that we regularly maintain to create long lasting habitats for wildlife and prevent flooding. Please do come and help out – any time given is appreciated!

We will bring tools with us, plus refreshments, but if you would like to bring your own gloves or tools then please do.

We will always confirm the session in the week beforehand, with detailed directions on where to park and if any other equipment or specific footwear is required.

Ask our organisers about this event or let them know that you will attend via the contact form provided – this helps us with catering and planning, thank you!
